Many modern car bodywork components, including most bumpers, are made of plastic. Usually these can be repaired simply by ‘plastic welding’ the crack, sanding down and then respraying. It saves money – and the environment – to repair rather than replace. Why pay for a whole new bumper, when you can fix the one you already have?
